When our community faces a crisis, the need to help is a human instinct. The images displayed on the news and the cries and pleas of desperation from the typhoon survivors is heart-wrenching for anyone watching.
Our school is encompassed with a high population of Filipinos, so Typhoon Haiyan’s destruction hits home to many members of our school community. The students and faculty of Holy Angels School will hold a “Philippines Week” monetary donation drive. All proceeds will go towards a charitable organization to assist the victims of Typhoon Haiyan.
If you wish to make a private donation, please read this article from Charity Navigator.
