EdRev 2012 Art Contest
Art has not always been what we think it is today. Imagine, just for a minute, a world without art! You may think to yourself “And…?” but consider the impact the lack of graphics would have on your child’s Nintendo DS video game, or Ipad application.
Art stimulates different parts of our brains and gives us a way to be creative and express ourselves. Although “God created all men equal,” that’s not to say he created all men the same. God gave each of us our own unique abilities – whether it’s in the form of academics, or the form of art.
As parents of children with a learning “difference,” -- I prefer to call it a difference, but Art is NOT a disability -- respect this special talent and give encouragement by not only providing good art supplies, but encouraging your child to enter EdRev’s 2012 Art Contest.
